Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and collaborate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring liquid diets or specific calorie counts.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
