Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for Mobile, AL. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and support the caregiving team to ensure meals are accurate and delivered on time.

The role requires 1 year of dietary aide experience and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. It offers full-time hours with a fixed pay rate of $14.25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies and dietary restrictions, or preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection in a timely and accurate manner; retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Complies with regulator agency standards including HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when handling food, cleaning work stations, and breaking down patient tray line.
