Qualifications
- Read, write and interpret documents in English.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.
Responsibilities
- Help patients understand menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
- Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural and religious preferences.
- Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and on time.
- Follow HIPAA, regulatory standards, and confidentiality policies.
- Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures.
- Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
- Report problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
