Join Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, as a Part-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Long Beach Memorial. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and support dietary needs on assigned units.

We're seeking candidates with patient dining experience preferred; flexible days and hours; compensation $23.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state and JCAHO standards and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning stations.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted or special diets.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
