OhioHealth in the United States is seeking a Patient Contact Center representative to handle inbound and outbound calls about patient and guarantor balances. You will explain remaining balances, resolve questions, and guide customers toward payment options.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, data entry skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, and adherence to Fair Debt Collection Practices.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with computer systems.
• Data entry skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with patients.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Fair Debt Collection Practices.
• Two years in customer service or collections with six months in a call center.

Mansioni

• Receive inbound and make outbound calls to patients/guarantors on account balances.
• Advise remaining balances and answer questions.
• Identify concerns/objections and determine best course of action.
• Negotiate for payment in full or maximum payment arrangements as per policy.
• Screen for insurance, billing or financial aid opportunities.
• Inbound/outbound calls via ACD or predictive dialer.
• Respond to patient requests and thank them for using OhioHealth services.
• Update demographics and document account adjustments or referrals as appropriate.
• Make recommendations for manual charge-offs based on criteria.
• Maintain quality and productivity requirements.
