Job summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator to support the front desk of our outpatient physical therapy clinic in Brick, NJ. You will welcome patients, assist with check-in kiosks, schedule appointments, and handle co-payments in a friendly, professional manner.

The role focuses on patient-facing tasks with basic administrative duties, no insurance verification or extensive phone responsibilities. Approximately 30 hours weekly with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, professional interaction with patients.
• Dependable with a consistent work schedule.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle payments accurately.
• Willingness to learn scheduling and check-in systems.
• Prior receptionist, customer service, retail, or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic’s check-in kiosk
• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed
• Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork
• Scan, copy, and organize basic documents
• Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions
• Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance
• Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized
• Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned
