Job summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator to support front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy clinic. The role focuses on welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting co-payments, assisting with the check-in kiosk, and basic administrative tasks.

It does not involve insurance verification, billing, or extensive phone work. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and organized, with comfort in interacting with patients and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients.
• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle payments accurately.
• Willingness to learn scheduling and check-in systems.
• Prior receptionist, customer service, retail, or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic’s check-in kiosk.
• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed.
• Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork.
• Scan, copy, and organize basic documents.
• Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions.
• Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance.
• Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized.
• Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned.
