Job summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator to support front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy clinic in New Jersey. The role focuses on welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and assisting with check-in processes.

Ideal candidates are friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented, with basic computer and data-entry skills. Prior receptionist or customer service experience is helpful but not required, and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic’s check-in kiosk.
• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed.
• Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork.
• Scan, copy, and organize basic documents.
• Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions.
• Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance.
• Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized.
• Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This is a patient-facing position focused primarily on welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting co-payments, assisting patients with the check-in kiosk, and completing basic administrative tasks. This position does not involve insurance verification, billing, or extensive phone responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner


• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic’s check-in kiosk


• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process


• Schedule and confirm patient appointments


• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed

What We Are Looking For

Hours

Approximately 30 hours per week. Availability may include a combination of morning, afternoon, and early evening shifts based on clinic needs.
