Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator for the Axis Spine Center. This part-time, on-site role in Post Falls, ID involves handling registration tasks, medical record updates, billing support, and patient communications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior clerical or medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients and update medical records.
• Prepare pre-registration packets for each procedure.
• Ensure copies of required documentation for billing and collections.
• Process co-payments and payments; billings support.
• Back up incoming calls and route to appropriate department.
• Perform nightly closing procedures for clinic.
• Call patients for pre-registration notification including copays and deductibles.
• Other duties as assigned.
