Job summary

Virtua Health is hiring a part-time Registrar for Mt. Holly (1st Shift) at 175 Madison Avenue. The role involves patient registration, insurance verification, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records in our hospital information system.

The schedule is every other Saturday/Sunday plus four weekdays from 11am to 3pm, with an orientation period before starting the assigned schedule. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum medical office experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle potentially stressful situations and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and enters patient demographics into the hospital information system.
• Verifies insurance information and obtains required authorizations and signatures.
• Collects co-pays and deposits and assists with billing inquiries as needed.
• Provides general front-desk support including scheduling and office tasks.
