Think-Whole-Person-Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Omaha, NE. You will welcome patients, manage pre-registration, check-in, and direct patients to appointments using Think’s systems.

You will scan insurance cards, collect copays, and upload documents, ensuring data accuracy and smooth intake processes. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience in healthcare, understanding of medical insurance workflows, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

Basic knowledge of medical insurance processes and workflows.
Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy rules.
Skill at communicating in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
Skill in using a computer and a variety of software, including Word and Outlook.
Skill in attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to deliver excellent customer service and patient education.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Mansioni

Welcome and engage patients with excellent customer service.
Scan insurance cards and collect copay, self-pay, and outstanding balances.
Assist with pre-registration and intake processes to reduce staff workload.
Ensure patients are checked-in accurately and directed to appointments.
Verify/update patient demographics and insurance information across systems.
Acquire signature for patient release and schedule future appointments.
Address patient questions and escalate issues as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient experience.
