Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Part-time Event Host in Brunswick, GA to plan, coordinate, and host events, including children’s birthday parties, inside our store. You’ll engage guests, demonstrate crafts, and help with party add-ons while delivering friendly service.

You will also support checkout operations and assist with store-wide tasks, ensuring a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all ages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects, face painting and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; handle emails and calls as needed.
