Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and coordinating children's events is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening skills, and problem solving.
• Strong organizational skills and creative problem solving in a retail setting.
• Retail or customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events such as children's birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities.
• Facilitate add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Coordinate event communications with clients and store team members.
• Handle administrative tasks such as emails, calls, and paperwork.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs; create backup plans.
• Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after events; support store operations.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production as needed.
