Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Part-time Party and Event Host to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events inside the store, including kids’ birthday parties and craft classes, delivering a fun, engaging experience for guests.

You will assist customers, manage checkout, support BOPIS/SFS processes, and help with merchandise tasks, while upholding cleanliness and safety standards; nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events including children's parties and crafts.
• Greet guests, assist shoppers, and maintain fast checkout.
• Wrap up events: setup, activities, and post-event cleanup.
• Communicate events with clients and store team; manage add-ons.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and store cleanliness.
