Qualifications

• Must have a valid State EMS license.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current driver's license.
• Must provide a current Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have current Georgia EMT-R, EMT, EMT-Intermediate, or Advanced EMT certification.
• One year EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an emergency vehicle and perform medical treatment per Gold Cross EMS protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, drugs, and supplies.
• Coordinate with Field Supervisor and other crew for patient care.
• Drive safely with due regard in accordance with EMS guidelines.
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and protocols.
