Key Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine appropriate actions per protocols.
• Operate medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to deliver advanced care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing reassurance and information.
• Lead scene and unit management as needed.
• Collaborate with health and safety personnel and fellow paramedics.
• Utilize triage skills for efficient call handling.
• Follow clinical protocols and safety standards in patient care.
• Lift and move patients safely to optimize care.
• Coordinate with receiving facilities for medical direction and critical info sharing.
• Drive ambulances, read maps, and support response times.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding call details and feedback.

Additional Duties

• Participate in community outreach to promote safety and service image.
• Maintain relationships with healthcare facilities, reporting interactions to management.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
