Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine actions per protocols.
• Operate defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Lead scene and unit management as needed.
• Coordinate with receiving facilities for medical direction and critical info sharing.
• Drive ambulances, read maps, and support response times.
• Participate in community outreach to promote safety and service image.
