Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Part-Time Paramedic in Billings, MT. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality patient care, leading on scene when required, and driving an ambulance during 911 responses.

Requirements include a State Paramedic License, a valid Driver's License, and completion of a two‑week orientation plus training days. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, and you will work 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Part-time position requires availability to attend a two-week orientation, Monday-Friday, 0800-1600, and to work 2-3 days per week during training.
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish community relations.
