Job summary

Ahschools is seeking a Paraeducator Supplemental Programs – Highly Qualified to support at-risk students with reading and math under licensed staff direction. This part-time position is 184 days/3 hours per day and can be filled after the posting period.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent and must have either 60 credits/associate's degree or passed ParaEducator/ParaPro exam. Good communication and physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be in building.
• 60 credits or an associate's degree, or ParaPro/ParaEducator exam with documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise students.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental reading and math support to at-risk students.
• May provide social/emotional behavioral support to at-risk students.
• Work under the direction of a licensed staff member.
