Baptist Children's Homes of NC, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to support the Kennedy Home Greater Vision Outreach Center in daily operations, client advising, and program logistics.

The role involves coordinating donations, supervising visitors, and maintaining inventory while collaborating with churches, donors, and community partners to advance the ministry’s mission. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• A personal relationship with Jesus and commitment to the mission of equipping the church to care for vulnerable children and families.
• Proficiency with computers and software used to enter and maintain client information.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize priorities, complete multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate with the ministry team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid NC driver’s license and safe driving record; periodic travel to agency locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in daily operations including client advising, warehouse and marketplace operations.
• Supervise visitors and coordinate donations; maintain inventory records and safety compliance.
• Develop positive relationships with churches, donors, and community partners to advance ministry goals.
• Assist with administrative duties, reporting, and training as required.
• Operate standard office and warehouse equipment; use Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA where applicable.
