Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current valid state RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• 9 months RN experience and 3 months dialysis experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision with guidance from the Educator or Preceptor.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and adjust the care plan.
• Educate patients and families about care needs.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administer medications per prescribed protocol.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Serve as a resource and participate in staff training.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing and documentation.
• Update nursing assessments and care plans with the team.
• Inform patients about transplant options.
• Complete CAP requirements to advance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
