Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduate of approved Medical Assistant program or 1 year of equivalent experience.
• Previous medical office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients upon arrival and collects relevant insurance information.
• Schedules appointments for providers and handles cancellations as needed.
• Assists provider and staff with basic office medical functions and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs clerical duties: referrals, triage calls, filing, and mail distribution.
• Performs medical assistant duties: vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and basic tests.
• Balances cash drawer and processes deposits at end of day.
