Job summary

Jefferson Health in Abington, PA seeks a part-time Registered Nurse – Operating Room to support the Abington campus. The role involves perioperative nursing care and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The candidate will provide education to patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and adhere to evidence-based practices. Completion of Periop 101 preferred; PA RN license and BLS required; day shifts; 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and cultural awareness.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families and care partners.
• Understanding and applying discharge planning and patient education.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
