AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in delivering high-quality patient care. You will conduct pre-testing procedures, assist with diagnostic testing, and help manage the doctor’s appointment schedule for an efficient patient experience.

The role requires evaluating patients before exams, handling records in EHR, and coordinating referrals. Certification (CPO/CPOA/CPOT) is preferred, with on-site duties in a fast-paced eye care practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye care.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform preliminary evaluations prior to eye exams and assist with specialty testing.
• Schedule referrals and manage ophthalmology referrals and follow-up visits.
• Maintain patient records in EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and treatment.
• Assist with end-of-day tasks and clinic organization.
