Job summary

Visionworks in Edina, MN is seeking a friendly, customer-focused CS/Optometric Assistant to welcome patients, conduct preliminary eye health testing, and help navigate them through the exam experience with warmth and clarity.

The role supports the OD, records patient information, and assists on the sales floor by educating customers on products and services, while performing routine store operations such as restocking and answering phones.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent is required or related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate customers on products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane and patient experience, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
