Visionworks is seeking a friendly Optometric Assistant to be the face of our exam practice, guiding patients with a simple, human, and bold approach. You will support eye health testing, product recommendations, and customer service in a retail setting.

The role emphasizes patient records, introductions to the OD, and smooth transitions from exam to sales. If you enjoy helping people see and look great, this role fits you well.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
