Job summary

Visionworks of America in Merriam, KS is seeking a Part-Time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store and guide every patient through the Visionworks experience.

You will be trained on optics, products, and vision care to meet eyewear needs in a simple, human and bold way. Responsibilities include achieving daily sales goals, engaging with customers, measuring eyewear needs, and supporting store operations like merchandising and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales by executing the Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend eyewear.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain optical knowledge.
• Support store operations: restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
