Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC is seeking a part-time Operations Admin Customer Service professional at our Monroe, MI location. This role supports daily freight and customer service tasks, data entry, invoicing, and coordination with drivers and supervisors.

The position starts around 11 AM, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling as needed. Ideal candidates communicate clearly in English, have strong typing and Microsoft Office skills, and prior transportation or customer-service experience is

Qualifications

• Fluent English required to communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for teamwork and service.
• Prior transportation industry and/or customer service experience is a plus.
• Haz-mat experience or worker’s compensation knowledge is helpful.
• Strong typing and ten-key skills are essential.
• Night shift hours may be required for some duties.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers via telephone, email, and fax regarding freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, and PODs.
• Data entry tasks such as scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll.
• Process paperwork and invoices; monitor checks and cash for AR/AP.
• Assist in processing Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
• Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers.
• Monitor and ensure compliance in areas including new hires, safety, P&D, OS&D, payroll, and accounts payable.
