PITT OHIO is seeking a PT Operations Admin Customer Service at our Monroe, MI location. The role involves direct communication with customers, data entry, and processing freight paperwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will support supervisors, drivers, and dock staff while maintaining accuracy and compliance with safety and company standards. Ideal candidates have strong English communication, good interpersonal skills, and experience in transportation or customer service.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers.
• Interpersonal communication skills are essential for team interaction.
• Experience in transportation industry and/or customer service a plus.
• Haz-mat or worker’s compensation knowledge is helpful.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Good typing and ten-key skills are required.
• Night shift hours may be required.
• Ability to adapt to changing duties and departments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers by phone, email, and fax on freight charges, pickups, tracing, and PODs.
• Data entry tasks include scanning bills, payroll, and fuel mileage.
• Process paperwork and invoices; monitor checks and cash for AR/AP.
• Assist with Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
• Support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers; ensure compliance with procedures.
