Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Accounting Specialist in Leesburg, VA to support accounts receivable, tariff reporting, and supplier administration. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment. The position is 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with a 7:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. core window. Pay is $21.00 per hour, and the team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders during month-end close

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as Epicor.
• Strong data entry accuracy and ability to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and cash receipts daily with accuracy.
• Assist with account reconciliations and respond to billing inquiries.
• Prepare tariff reports and coordinate with internal teams.
• Manage customer and supplier documentation and setup forms.
• Support month-end close and other accounting tasks.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.
• Handle data entry for tariff reporting with attention to detail.
• Assist accounts payable and reconciliation activities as required.
