Purdue Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Infrastructure Intern to gain hands-on experience within Service Desk operations, infrastructure systems, and cybersecurity. Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Basic familiarity with Service Desk or customer support concepts.
• Interest in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and triage incoming end-user support requests through the Help Desk system, email, and telephone in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripheral issues and elevate tickets according to established procedures.
• Provide desktop-level support including software installation, upgrades, system configuration, and hardware setup.
• Gather detailed problem information from end users and clearly document issues and resolutions.
• Schedule and coordinate support sessions with appropriate IT team members when advanced assistance is required.
