Job summary

UW Credit Union is offering an IT Infrastructure Intern position in Madison. The role supports the IT Technical Services team with building and deploying laptops, desktops, and other computing solutions for end users. The internship is up to one year, requires 15-20 hours per week, and schedule is flexible to accommodate academics.

The team also handles projects around devices, moves, and documentation. The internship provides hands-on experience in technology, customer service, and end-user

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Current enrollment in college as a junior or senior is required.
• Enrollment in a Technology program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy end-user computing solutions (PCs/Laptops/VDI) for UW Credit Union employees.
• Assist with Office moves and relocate PCs, monitors, and peripherals as needed.
• Coordinate and participate in structured projects focused on network infrastructure, system operations, and equipment recycling.
• Author end-user documentation and help maintain lab/build areas.
