Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a licensed dentist to provide and supervise comprehensive dental care for facility detainees. The role includes evaluating the dental health program, improving services, and coordinating with the facility medical team to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities encompass initial screenings within seven days, treatment planning, preventive care, and maintaining health records in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in dentistry from an accredited dental school.
• Professional license must remain on file at all times at the facility where services are rendered.
• Ability to deal effectively with detainees/inmates and staff in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains compliance with company policies for accreditation.
• Completes an initial dental screening on all new commitments within seven days.
• Evaluates patients needing dental care and makes clinically appropriate recommendations.
