Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a licensed dentist to provide and supervise comprehensive dental care for detainees/inmates at our Michigan facility. The role requires creating individualized treatment plans, performing evaluations, and maintaining health records in coordination with the medical team.

This is a 1099 contractor position with on-site responsibilities and flexible scheduling (40 hours or 20 hours weekly).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Dental degree from an accredited dental school.
• Licensed to practice in the state where the facility is located.
• Professional license must remain on file at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides and supervises dental care for detainees/inmates.
• Performs initial screenings and creates treatment plans.
• Performs cleaning, drilling, fillings, and extractions.
• Maintains patient health records and uses EHR.
