Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in dentistry from an accredited dental school.
• Licensed to practice as a dentist in the state of employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with detainees and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise complete dental care for detainees/inmates.
• Develop treatment plans after comprehensive exams.
• Perform routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, and related procedures.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate with medical staff.
• Order and manage dental supplies and coordinate with outside labs as needed.
• Provide in-service training and contribute to program quality and compliance.
