Job summary

PACS is seeking a Part-time Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and the health team. You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide ongoing staff training while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to facility policies.

The role requires a OT license in the state and an academic background in Occupational Therapy, with CPR certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; licensed to practice in the state are required.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred; CPR certification may be required.
• Proficient in computer data entry for health records and rehab documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs, mobility, and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and educate staff as needed.
• Communicate progress with families, physicians, and the health team.
• Maintain compliant documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in quality improvement and rehab program development.
