National University in Los Angeles, CA invites applications for part-time Nursing Faculty to conduct Medical-Surgical & Geriatric clinicals for the BSN program. The successful candidate will teach, assess students, and contribute to program quality and student success.

The role is onsite in Los Angeles with a focus on clinical excellence, student engagement, and professional nursing practice. A MSN and CA RN license are required, with prior teaching or bedside nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A MSN from a regionally accredited institution is required.
• At least one year of RN bedside or RN teaching experience within 5 years.
• Current, unencumbered CA RN license required.

Responsabilités

• Lead clinical sessions at placement sites.
• Provide timely, substantive feedback on assessments.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for students.
• Complete deadlines for grades, assessments, and rubrics.
• Coordinate with course lead and other faculty.
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
• Some indirect patient care may occur in labs.
