National University in San Diego, CA invites applications for part-time faculty to teach Medical-Surgical and Gerontologic nursing in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at clinical sites across San Diego.

The successful candidate will bring MSN, teaching experience and current CA RN licensure, and will lead sessions, provide timely feedback, and support student engagement and success in a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• MSN from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of clinical bedside nursing experience in an acute care setting within the last 5 years.
• Current, unencumbered CA Registered Nursing license.
• Preferred: terminal degree (Ph.D. in Nursing or DNP) and higher education teaching experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead sessions at clinical placement sites.
• Provide substantive, timely feedback on assessments.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Complete required tasks on deadlines (grades, rubrics, etc.).
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
• Provide feedback to the course lead on content.
