Qualifications

• MSN from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of continuous clinical bedside nursing experience in acute care or Med-Surg within the last 5 years or clinical teaching experience within the last 5 years.
• Current, unencumbered CA Registered Nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Lead sessions at clinical placement sites.
• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessments.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
• Complete required tasks on deadlines (final grades, assessments, rubrics, etc.).
• Engage in professional training or scholarly activities when applicable.
• Provide course-content feedback to the course lead.
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
