Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Columbus campus.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing, have two or more years RN experience, and hold an active Ohio RN license. Training is provided, and transcripts must be provided.

The college offers a competitive total rewards package and a pay range of $37.40 to $50.48 per hour, with benefits and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Two or more years full-time RN experience.
• Active Ohio RN license without encumbrances.
• Official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate to assure full instruction of the clinical component.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
