Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Dayton, OH seeks a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at the Dayton campus.

The role involves lab and clinical instruction, promoting a positive learning environment, engaging students, supervising clinical sites, and providing constructive feedback while coordinating with the Faculty Organization and Curriculum Committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Three or more years full-time RN experience.
• Active MI RN licensure.
• Official transcripts for each degree earned.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in a lab setting or clinical setting as needed.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
