Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a part-time, on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Columbus campus.

No prior teaching experience is necessary; training is provided. Responsibilities include directing off-campus clinicals, fostering engagement, and evaluating student progress. The role supports work-life balance while contributing to student success in nursing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Two or more years full-time work experience as an RN.
• Active Ohio RN license with no encumbrances.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for degrees earned.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at clinical sites or in a lab.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate on clinical instruction.
• Plan student clinical experiences to foster engagement.
• Supervise and orient students to clinical sites and policies.
• Evaluate student achievement and provide feedback.
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Curriculum Committees.
