Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a part-time, on-site Clinical Instructor for the Maumee campus. You will teach nursing students in lab and clinical settings, fostering engagement and ensuring coverage of the clinical component of the curriculum.

The role emphasizes collaboration with faculty, supervision of student clinicians, and ongoing assessment and feedback. A nursing degree and Ohio RN licensure are required, with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required with compliance to governing bodies.
• Three or more years full‑time work experience as an RN.
• Active State of Ohio RN licensure without encumbrance.
• Ability to provide official transcripts from all degrees.
• Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in a lab or on-site clinical setting as needed.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate with others to cover clinical curriculum.
• Engage students by planning and supervising their clinical experiences.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and policies; evaluate progress and provide feedback.
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
