Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (3 days/week) to manage medical needs of residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units. You will diagnose, treat, and promote health, collaborating with medical staff and serving as primary contact for emergencies and routine visits.

The role includes conducting examinations, interpreting labs, and overseeing health in designated buildings. Training program with mentorship and fieldwork is provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Active NP license in the state.
• Board certification in NP specialty.
• DEA license for controlled substances.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and with staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with email and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and post-acute care for residents in assigned facility.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Oversee patients’ overall health.
