Michigan Humane is seeking an Administrative and Accounting Associate on a part-time basis in Bingham Farms, MI. The role supports the Finance team with mail processing, deposits, and invoices, while assisting accounts payable/receivable in a nonprofit setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or coursework, 1–3 years of experience, and strong numerical accuracy with MS Excel and accounting software. Flexible hours are available and teamwork is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required or preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience suggested.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Sort, batch, log, and process incoming mail and donations.
• Prepare bank deposits and cash receipts for donations.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and invoices processing.
