Job summary

Beacon Health System’s Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN, is hiring a part-time, night-shift Registered Nurse for Maternity Services. The role is 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week) with a night shift 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and five shifts per pay period.

You will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and collaborate across disciplines to support childbirth and maternity care in a not-for-profit hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• New hires after 2014 must obtain BSN within five years or pursue specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain and update patient records per guidelines.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
