Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring for a Host Person at the TAP Sports Bar. You will greet guests promptly, manage reservations, and maintain order and cleanliness in the restaurant. A background of 2+ years as a dining host and strong customer service skills are preferred.

The role is part-time with 16–24 hours per week, mostly night shifts, and offers benefits such as free meals for employees, wellness programs, and employee discounts across hotel, dining, and entertainment offerings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and maintain an accurate count using the reservation book.
• Coordinate with restaurant reservations on special orders and relay guest needs to management and kitchen.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, table setups, and restaurant hours; ensure menus are current.
• Check on guests waiting to be seated and reassure them while tables are prepared.
• Keep assigned work areas clean and organized; shut down podium and forward phones at shift end.
• Assist servers, bussers, and food runners as needed.
