Job summary

The Walla Walla Veterans Home is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Nursing Assistant Certified on the Night Shift (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m., Sat–Tue). The role is not eligible for telework and involves supporting care plans, assisting with therapies, monitoring residents, and maintaining a safe environment under RN supervision.

Applicants must hold a WA NAC license, be active on the OBRA registry, read/write/speak English proficiently, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington state NAC license.
• Active OBRA Registry status.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the resident's care plan.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents and families.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under RN direction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and monitoring meals.
• Record vital signs and document intake/output.
• Keep spaces clean and sanitary; lead therapeutic activities.
