Job summary

Walla Walla Veterans Home is seeking a part-time RN 2 for the Night Shift (Friday through Monday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am). This role, located at the Walla Walla Veterans Home, offers the opportunity to deliver skilled, compassionate care to veterans and their families, with benefits aligned to state HR rules.

Telework is not available, and the team operates on-site in Washington state. The position benefits from step-based pay within the assigned range, including a 24/7 facility premium

Deliver skilled, compassionate care to our nation's heroes at the Walla Walla Veterans Home! Our team is excited to announce we are now hiring a Part-Time (80%) Registered Nurse 2 for our Night Shift.

• This position has been posted within the assigned pay range through Step W. Step X has not been published as this is considered the longevity step, in alignment with state HR compensation rules.

Updated as of July 1, 2025: This position is eligible for “Supplement Basic Shift Premium” for 24/7 Facilities. Employees who are assigned to a facility that provides direct care to residents, patients, and/or clients and whose duties are required to be performed on location will receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour of supplemental basic shift premium for each hour of basic shift premium. This shift premium does not apply to overtime hours. The supplemental basic shift premium shall expire on June 29, 2027.

Please Note: The scheduled shift for this position will be Friday through Monday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. This position is not eligible for telework.
