Job summary

You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. RN licensure and BLS are required; acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred.
• English fluency in reading, speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and communicate with patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care within the nursing team.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations and provide necessary interventions.
